One Dead, Another Injured In Shocking Durban Drive-By Shooting

A man has died and another has been rushed to hospital following a violent drive-by shooting in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday morning.
According to emergency responders, the two men were travelling in a vehicle when gunmen opened fire on them, riddling the car with bullets. The motive behind the attack remains unclear as police continue their investigation.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said paramedics were met with a devastating scene upon arrival.

“Paramedics arrived on-scene to find chaos and carnage as they found that a vehicle had been shot at numerous times, leaving both the driver and passenger with multiple gunshot wounds.
“Paramedics assessed the two men, believed to be in their 30s and 40s, however, one of them, the passenger, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and there was nothing paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased at the scene,” said Jamieson.
Driver Rushed to Hospital After Shooting
Jamieson confirmed that the driver, who also suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital for urgent medical care.
Authorities have not yet identified the victims, and investigations into the motive and suspects are ongoing.
Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information related to the shooting to come forward as they work to establish what led to the deadly ambush.
